The only thing "OFFICIALLY RELEASED" by what alot of people have referred to as the "BEST BAND FROM CHATTANOOGA EVER". It lasted a few years and eventually imploded. The only thing that could stop GHETTOBIRD was, well, GHETTOBIRD.
This was a tape made to give out as promo's to hopefully but doubtfully likeminded folks at the 2011 annual DOYAHEARWE? festival in the bands hometown, Chattanooga, TN. The full-length advertised in the insert never surfaced. Nor did the long awaited split with GHETTOBIRD's best friends- Chattanooga's all girl or queer/trans fireball rock n roll machine, TWAT SAUCE. The Chattanooga rock n roll scene may never be lucky enough to have 2 bands like TWAT SAUCE and GHETTOBIRD in the local pool. After both bands could never get a hold of the masters they spent their hard earned money on after a year BOTH bands dissolved. But no hard feelings. The recordings on tis tape are "ruff demos". It's definitely the best unreleased album from Chattanooga. Ghettobird guitarist, Dale Earnhardt the 3rd, claims to write a book about the experience. We can only hope the unreleased GHETTOBIRD album is included... Rumor on the streets of the southeast is ALL of GHETTOBIRD can be at in the same room without trying to kill each other. Reunion show possibilities? … Ya'll don't deserve it....
