Current members: Doc G and K-R.O.K The Producer Past members: Prince Be , DJ Minute Mix P.M. Dawn was founded in 1988 in Jersey City, New Jersey (USA) by the two brothers (a.k.a. ) and (a.k.a. ). In 2005, Attrell suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed. Their cousin Gregory Carr (a.k.a. Dr. Giggles or Doc G) was added to the lineup for their comeback that year, and Jarrett was fired from the band right after. Attrell Cordes was unable to continue with the band due to continued health problems, and he died in 2016. The band continued with just Doc G, and added K-R.O.K. The Producer to the lineup in 2018.

I figure the chorus is him saying he tries to ignore reality and all the negative aspects and instead live in a state of denial..or at least not letting dwelling on the bad..
